Job description

HRM have partnered with this indigenous organisation who provide enterprise project and portfolio management solutions to global organisations and government agencies. With projects across 50 countries, their current headcount is 225 with expected growth to 400 within the next 2 years. Headquartered in Leitrim, they seek an experienced HR Generalist to provide 12 months maternity leave cover. However, with their expected growth there is a strong opportunity of permanency. This role can be based in Leitrim or in the their satellite office in Dublin City.

The Position

Reporting to the Head of HR you will have full exposure and responsibility for the following:

  • Supporting employees across multiple locations throughout Ireland, UK and USA, ensuring HR operations run smoothly and contribute to a positive work environment.

  • Assist the Talent Acquisition Lead in recruitment processes.

  • Facilitate the onboarding process by educating new hires on HR policies, internal regulations and culture

  • Offer guidance to managers and employees regarding HR policies and best practices.

  • Manage employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance and satisfaction.

  • Working closely with the L&D Partner, coordinate performance management activities such as goal setting and development plans.

  • Maintain competency framework and pay scales.

  • Handle employee relations issues in accordance with laws and company policies as they arise. The key focus will be on maintaining their high performance culture as is their culture; there are minimal employee relations issues.

  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of HRIS data and support HR initiatives and projects, including leading wellness programs when assigned.

The Person

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field required.

  • 3-5 years of HR generalist experience.

  • Comprehensive understanding of HR best practices and employment laws in Ireland, UK, and USA.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, adept at building relationships across all levels.

  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and resourcefulness.

  • Empathetic and interpersonal with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Organised and skilled in time management, with an analytical mindset.
