Job description

A leading healthcare organisation is seeking an experienced HR Generalist in the Dublin West area for a 4 month contract. This organisation are undertaking a journey of transformation which will both empower decision making across all levels whilst also creating more effective ways of working. Such a transformation requires members of the HR team to work closely with the business during this time of transformation.

The Role

The HR Generalist will provide exceptional day to day HR support and will also gain excellent exposure and experience through the organisation's transformation program. In this role your responsibilities will include:

  • Effectively managing and addressing a wide range of HR related enquiries from employees
  • Developing and updating local HR policies
  • Providing guidance and/or training to employees and managers on all company policies, procedures and guidelines
  • Assisting in the Recruitment & Selection Process from vacancy creation through to induction of new employees
  • Maintaining HR records both manual and electronic via Workday and ad hoc reporting activities in conjunction with the Shared Services Centre
  • Ensuring compliance of all HR practices within legislative and regulatory, requirements, standards and other known relevant policies and guidelines. Ensures the organisation is audit ready
  • Taking an active role in the role out of various HR and Business projects eg digital interviewing roll out
  • Supporting the organisation in driving a culture of accountability and empowered decision making

The Person

  • Must hold 2-4 years' HR experience at HR Advisor or HR Generalist level, ideally within a multi-national environment
  • Your attention to detail and accuracy are essential in working with this health-care organisation who are governed by various regulatory bodies. Strong use of HRIS systems are required also
  • You will work best with innovative and creative culture and thrive best when you collaborate
  • You will be authentic and trustworthy. You will be expected to undertake your role with focus and clarity of purpose, but will have an outgoing and fun personality which will best suit this excellent HR team
