Job description

Our client, a leading global manufacturing organisation based in Cork, is seeking an experienced Inhouse Recruitment Lead to join their dynamic team. This newly created role presents an exciting opportunity for an individual with 5 years or more of proven success in delivering key appointments across all sectors of a manufacturing organisation.

The Role

  • Manage all live vacancies, ensuring a streamlined and efficient recruitment process.

  • Act as a key point of contact for stakeholder management, liaising with hiring managers, senior leaders, the HR team, and external suppliers.

  • Utilise the existing Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to its full potential, providing insights for improvements, creating dashboards, and generating valuable reports.

  • Establish Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to guarantee the timely delivery of all appointments, meeting organisational needs.

  • Offer guidance and training to hiring managers, ensuring a best-in-class interview experience for candidates and consistent hiring practices.

  • Proactively build a talent pipeline based on a deep understanding of current and future business needs, ensuring a robust pool of candidates for upcoming roles.

  • Collaborate closely with HR and other departments to develop recruitment strategies that align with the company's goals and values.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment, implementing innovative strategies to attract top talent.

The Person

The ideal candidate for this role is a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to recruitment. They should possess exceptional communication skills, be able to collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve common goals. A proactive mindset, coupled with the ability to anticipate future talent needs, will be key to success in this position. The Inhouse Recruitment Lead should be results-driven, with a passion for delivering high-quality recruitment services that contribute to the growth and success of the organisation.

  • 5+ years of experience in recruitment, with a focus on manufacturing or related industries.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing end-to-end recruitment processes for diverse roles.

  • Strong understanding of applicant tracking systems (ATS) and experience in optimising their use.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to foresee future talent needs and develop proactive recruitment plans.

  • Demonstrated experience in creating and implementing SLAs for recruitment processes.

  • Exceptional organisational skills, proven track record of delivery and attention to detail.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.

  • Must be based in Cork. A hybrid working model is in place with 2 days working from home. There is a clear expectation of working 3 days on site in Cork to support the business as the successful appointee develops this function.
