Job description

Our client is a growing biopharmaceutical company focused on the development of treatments for disorders which present unique public health challenges. The Supply Chain Manager, Artwork is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Artwork process ensuring that all artwork projects are completed and that all artwork updates are delivered to market on time and in full.

 

The Role

In this role you will manage the Global Artwork Management System (GLAMS), ensuring that all procedures are compliant and followed. In addition, you will:

  • Work very closely with the Regulatory team where you will ensure that all updates to existing drugs as well as new product launches are correct and thorough
  • Be responsible for ensuring that the organisation maintains an organisation ready status from an artwork perspective
  • Work continuously to identify and implement process improvement initiatives
  • Liaise with the RA, QA, Supply Chain and external parties as appropriate on all implementation requirements
  • Be responsible for the management and monitoring of regional change and have oversight and ownership of all large-scale projects which support artwork activities relating to serialisation
  • Prepare progress reports for quality records on GLAMS and ensure on time closure of all quality records by artworks

 

The Person

  • A relevant Science or Engineering degree is desired
  • A minimum of 5 years' artwork experience
  • You should have a good understanding of packaging components and the packaging manufacturing process
  • Knowledge of regulatory/quality requirements for artwork management
  • Experience and knowledge of packing for cold chain and sterile products
  • You should have good IT experience with GXP systems
  • Working knowledge of EU Falsified Medicine Directive and serialisation requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal team members and external vendors
