A world leading Medical Device organisation based in North Dublin are looking to increase their Procurement team, focusing on the direct materials categories. Their manufacturing site has lean operations and is in a state of continuous improvement and rapid growth.

The Role

As a Procurement Specialist, you will:

• Report into the Head of Procurement, joining a group of experienced procurement professionals
• Review and release PO's and invoices
• Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities
• Project management in line with additional buyers and other functional leads
• Supplier management and negotiating when required
• Support the annual budget regarding material costs and forecasts

The Person

• 5 years' experience within an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment
• Strong evidence using SAP within current/previous roles
• Experience in commodity management
• Strong communication and influencing skills
• Dynamic team player that can work proactively with cross functional teams
