Job description
This leading Irish agrochemical innovator business is seeking an experienced Quality Systems Specialist to join their dynamic and customer-focused Quality function on a permanent basis. The Quality Systems Specialist will play an important role in embedding QMS management principles throughout the organisation and in driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
The Role
Duties and responsibilities of the Quality Systems Specialist will include:
- Set up and maintain a QMS that meets the requirements of ISO 9001:2015
- Support Change Management
- Guide Risk Management processes to address business needs
- Provide input to Quality Systems Management reviews
- Formalise coaching opportunities to support training objectives for QMS
- Monitoring and measuring QMS maturity and performing self-inspection
- Act as Subject Matter Expert for functionality, architecture and use of the electronic document management system
- Oversee content of controlled documents for consistency with QMS
- Manage projects to address Quality initiatives and objectives
- Lead internal audit schedule and conduct and follow up on internal audits
The Person
You will have skills and experience in the following:
- BSc in Quality or a science-related discipline
- Direct experience of a Quality Management System such as ISO, GXP
- Experience working in the Agrochemical or Chemical industry, or regulated industry such as Pharma or Medical Devices
- Experienced Auditor
- Experienced in (EDMS) electronic documentation control systems
- Previous use of Q-Pulse and SAP beneficial
- Performance driven, with a 'can-do' attitude
- Developed negotiation, persuasive and influencing skills
- Comfortable working in a rapidly evolving and growing company
