Job description

My client is a well-established, future focused global business with operations in over 29 countries and a significant employee population. With global headquarters based in Ireland, this organisation is seeking to hire an experienced professional to join their talented HR Team. This is a newly created position and will play a critical role in supporting Global Functions, supporting leadership to drive HR initiatives and projects across the globe.

As the Senior Human Resources Business Partner, you will provide both strategic and operational HR support in an efficient and effective manner. As a member of the Global Functions HR Team, you will partner with COE's, divisional HR teams, colleagues, and external vendors. To be successful in this role, you will have worked in a matrix environment and be a senior level business partner with the background and experience in delivering a best-in-class service to the functions you support;

The Role

  • Proactively engage with functional leadership to develop the people agenda and implement all elements of it.
  • Partnering with leaders and managers to provide people support and advice.
  • Facilitating the annual talent review cycle, coordinating all activity and reporting.
  • Facilitating the process for the annual performance and reward cycle.
  • Developing organisational capability and succession planning to anticipate change in business and leadership requirements.
  • Engaging with the Centre of Expertise to ensure appropriate talent, reward and leadership development support for the function.
  • Overseeing the recruitment of senior leaders and business critical roles in the functional remit.
  • Leading all people aspects of organisational change initiatives ensuring all legal and employee relations risks are managed effectively.
  • Leading various projects and initiatives to support the people agenda as part of the wider global team.
  • Support and contribution to the Global Functions HR strategy and annual planning.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years' + experience working in a global or matrix environment and display proven ability to partner at various levels of an international organisation. Strong partnering and engagement experience is vital in this role along with the ability of leading complex projects in multi-jurisdictional environments.
