Our client is a global healthcare business, who are seeking an Operations Manager with a proven background of delivering results within a high volume pharma manufacturing environment.

The Position

• Identify areas for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. Implement best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement through regular reviews and updates of operational processes.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and standards. Conduct regular safety audits, training sessions, and risk assessments to maintain a safe working environment.
• Oversee the operational budget, ensuring all expenditures are within approved limits. Monitor and report on financial performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and manage resources effectively to achieve financial goals.
• Lead and manage the operations team, providing direction, support, and development opportunities. Foster a positive work environment, set performance goals, and conduct regular evaluations to ensure high performance and staff satisfaction.

The Person

• Degree qualification in a engineering, manufacturing or similar discipline.
• Pharmaceutical manaufacturing experience is a must.
• Experience leading large cross functional operations team.
