The Role

Directing the activities of the on-site QA team, the Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will report to the QA Manager. The main responsibilities carried out include:

• Conducting routine quality checks on incoming supplier goods as well as outgoing manufactured goods
• Maintaining the company's Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001 and TS16949
• Processing of quality change requests with adherence to regulatory change implementation
• Supporting internal and external audit activities

The Person

The Senior QA Engineer must possess:

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Experience working within a similar quality role to ISO 9001 and TS16949
• Experience in new product introduction
• Keen knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety practices
• Strong communication, interpersonal and people management skills
• A good work ethic and be a self-starter

Advantageous but non-essential skills:

• Basic proficiency with German
• Experience working in automotive parts manufacture
• Have worked with metal and plastics previously
