Senior Quality Technologist | Permanent | Meath

Exciting permanent opportunity with an award-winning client who is a critical supplier for high-quality produce in the Irish domestic market. As a Senior Quality Technologist, you would be joining at a pivotal moment in the business trajectory as they begin to execute their 4 years Business Transformation sustainability plan- investing over 5 million into various departments, for instance quality and their QMS.

This role will be situated in the Quality team, working on review and writing of documentation, SOPs and having prior experience and understanding of systems, being able to support these in future years as the company continues to expand their ventures.

This is a permanent position, with enormous scope for growth into different aspects of a dynamic, team-oriented business. It is ideal for any individual with experience in quality who wishes to have a direct impact on company operations as this organisation values new perspectives and fresh ideas.

What the main responsibilites are:

• Participate in Quality Audits. Lead audits in the absence of the Quality Manager.
• Conducting Traceability/Recall audits, reporting issues to production and working with production to drive improvements.
• Management of the HACCP / TACCP programmes for the site.

The ideal candidate:
Ideally background in science, with experience in systems and SOPs/documentation review etc.

Previous knowledge of food industry (HACCP/BRC) highly desirable
