Our client, a European leading food production group, are looking for a Site Operations Manager to join their organisation on a permanent basis. This position has end to end business operations responsibilities and requires a professional with experience in a high-volume manufacturing company. The role will be based in their Dublin production facility.

The Role

Reporting into the Group Manufacturing Director you will have but will not be limited to, the following responsibilities/activities:

• You will develop and have full headcount responsibility for the site.
• In alignment with business corporate strategy, you will develop the manufacturing strategy for the site.
• The Site Operations Manager will have full budget management remit and responsibility for the profitability of the operation.
• You will ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to, taking accountability for the welfare of those onsite.
• You will use Lean processes to improve processes onsite, particularly production efficiency.

The Person

• You must have full operations management experience within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• It would be advantageous to have an educational background in manufacturing, engineering or similar.
• You will have strong management skills and experience leading large cross-functional teams.
• Budget management experience is crucial.
