There is an opening for a Specifications Technologist to join the innovative technical team.

The Role

Duties and responsibilities of the Specifications Technologist include:

• Maintenance of GRS Database with current product specifications
• Approval of product labels against product specifications as required
• Direct communication with all suppliers in relation to completion and accuracy of product technical specification
• Completion / approval of customer specs as requested i.e. retailer specs
• Control & maintenance of automated specification system
• Ensuring product information meets with legislative requirements and internal policy
• Completion of internal audit as per internal schedules
• Compilation of complaints trending
• Supporting internal audit completion, analysis of trends

The Person

The ideal candidate will have qualifications & experience in the following:

• Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a food related discipline
• Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills
• Working knowledge of MS Office programmes
• Self-motivated with good attention to detail
