Job description

We are currently working with our client in their search for an experienced Strategic Accounts Director. This role will play a crucial part in developing and growing exceptional customer relationships and creating a clear vision for future business solutions on one of their main client sites.

The Role

  • Take charge of operational excellence and implement best business practices within your domain, optimising service and value propositions to exceed performance targets.
  • Managing and leading the Team across their integration solutions business.
  • Cultivate a deep understanding of client needs and exhibit exceptional stakeholder relationship skills, with a paramount emphasis on client satisfaction and service excellence.
  • Showcasing outstanding interpersonal and negotiation skills, including commercial negotiations and identification of business development avenues.
  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to enhance the client experience and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prioritise top contracts and collaborate with Operations Directors to devise retention strategies that maximise business growth.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the industry landscape and competitor market trends.

The Person

  • Proficiency in managing multiple service lines, encompassing both Soft and Hard.
  • Holds a degree or possesses equivalent practical experience in a relevant field.
  • Strong commercial awareness and financial understanding, in particular the financial dynamics associated with retaining contracts.
  • EHS experience is important for this role.
  • Previous experience working in a senior-level role in the outsourcing marketplace.
  • Demonstrate strong experience in managing multiple accounts and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Holding a valid IOSH Managing Safety Cert is a plus.
