The Strategic Talent Partner will collaborate with the business in leveraging talent, developing a strong engagement culture and challenging themselves and others to achieve delivery excellence. With ambitious growth plans going forward, this role will play a key role in building and engagement culture and leveraging global and local capability to meet priorities and demands.


The Role

  • Delivering a strategic partnering service to the designated service business lines across the organisation.
  • Driving the implementation of the Talent strategy in relation to talent management, leadership development, performance management, retention, and engagement.
  • Working with the business to create annual Talent Strategic Plans.
  • Proactively driving strategic change initiatives and monitoring and reporting on progress.
  • Supporting the creation of Workforce Plans with each business area identifying their workforce capability needs for the coming year - and reassessing those needs on a quarterly basis.
  • Using data to create insights in order to generate ideas and solutions.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to the business leaders providing guidance and coaching on key people issues including performance management, talent management and pay reviews.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues in Talent to shape and deliver a positive employee experience.
  • Providing insights on current people issues and offering a challenging robust point of view on business decisions and their impact on people.
  • Supporting the implementation of the firm's key processes including performance management, leadership development and reward.
  • Supporting the drive to be an inclusive employer valuing diversity.

This role will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to work in partnership with a fast-paced business with aggressive plans for future growth. You will need at least 5 years' experience as a HR Business Partner working with senior management teams and have brought about considerable behavioural change that has resulted in improved business performance. A third level degree is required, and practical knowledge of MS office skills is important.

  • A strong strategic focus and an ability to translate a vision to a tangible delivery plan.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communication clearly, coach and facilitate, and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable business acumen.
  • Extensive knowledge of Employee Relations, Talent Management, Performance Management, Reward, Resource Management, and Diversity & Inclusion.
  • Practical experience of implementing successful change initiatives.
  • Well-developed leadership skills preferably honed within a multi-location, matrix organisation.
