Job description

This opportunity is with a leading pharmaceutical business who specialise in acquiring prescription medicines across a broad range of therapeutic areas in international markets. They are seeking a Supply Chain Manager.

The Position
Key responsibilities include:
* End to end planning, develop and maintain an accurate forecast at multiple levels of aggregation in order to determine order requirements, adhering to site lead times and within agreed inventory targets across supply chain.
* Raise Purchase orders in ERP system and submit orders to supplier along with most up to date demand forecast.
* Maintain open order book and sales order book files.
* Agree purchase orders with end market customers. Resolve any discrepancies in quantity, pricing and/or timing of market orders.
* Raise sales orders in ERP system and organise shipments. Request invoices from Finance department.
* Manage logistics from sites and warehouses.
* Follow up on debit or credit notes generation.
* Utilize relevant in-market knowledge.
* Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock outs and minimise write offs.
* Work closely with the sites to align on expected manufacturing and packaging campaigns, expediting orders if potential stock outs are foreseen.
* Liaise with Quality on pending batch release. Highlighting release priority.
* Support the monthly S&OP process.
* Manage and proactively communicate supply status and critical supply chain metrics.
* Perform ad-hoc analytical analysis, recognize issues, develop plan for resolution, and implement and / or influence the support of key partners to aid implementation.
* Participate in Supply Chain initiatives.
* Assist on Supply Chain Metrics preparation.

The Person
* 5 years of experience in supply chain optimizing/demand planning/sales forecasting.
* Experience in demand planning or supply planning.
* FDA regulation/US legislation experience mandatory.
* Managed inventory or stocks.
* Advanced excel and analytical abilities.
* High level statistics knowledge.
* Experience working with external third part manufacturing and 3PL.
