This leading consultancy firm are working closely with high-profile business on several projects across a range of industries. The Supply Planning Manager role would be working with client organisations to enhance supply chain performance through planning process and organisation re-engineering. You will also be in collaborative team analysing client issues and development solutions.

The Position

• Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge in your functional area of overall supply chain planning.
• Demonstrate ability to quickly learn new processes and uncover new offering that may assist current customer base.
• Employ tactical, process-oriented problem-solving skills to address complex challenges.
• Develop and present new ideas and conceptualise new approaches and solutions.
• Cultivate strong relationships with clients and deliver exceptional service.
• Strive to assist clients to uncover additional areas of opportunity and manage the business development process.

The Person

• A strong academic record including a third level degree, in supply chain or equivalent, from a recognised third level institution.
• At least 6 years' experience working in a client facing role for a leading consulting or professional services company in supply chain consulting environment with a focus on Supply Chain Planning & execution or at least 7 years' experience working for a leading company, in the planning function.
• Deep knowledge in one or more of the following specific areas: supply chain operating model design, demand/supply/production/logistics planning, IBP/S&OP.
• Experience in one or more of our focus industries including ICT, infrastructure, utilities, health or professional services.
• Experience of savings opportunity identification and cost reduction programmes.
