Our client is a leading multinational group focused on improving lives by identifying, developing and commercialising meaningful products for patients, seek to appoint a talented and innovative Talent Acquisition leader to join their international offices in Dublin. The Role

  • The Talent Acquisition Leader for Europe will be responsible for the design, strategy, building, and execution of the programmatic and analytical strategies for all European hires as the company continues to grow and scale their operations
  • Within this leadership appointment, you will continuously collaborate with business executives across the company on Talent Acquisition strategy, market knowledge and recruitment metrics
  • As the regional Talent Acquisition leader, you will be charged with setting the vision for recruiting data and solutions that define the next generation of system, tools and workflow needs
  • Work with cross-functional partners (ie. Finance, R&D, Sales, Marketing) to establish benchmarks for improving productivity and delivery against high impact initiatives
  • Support policy, process and programmatic initiatives across talent acquisition and other related functional areas including hiring plans and pre-boarding
  • Design and drive strategy within Employer Branding & Marketing (including social media)
  • Continue contributing to Global Talent Acquisition journey and assist in ensuring regional processes and policies are aligned to successfully delivering high calibre talent and professionals to growing business units across multiple markets
  • Provide insight and continuous improvement to existing systems and implementation of new tools (e.g. Workday)
  • Identify areas of improvement to the overall hiring process and streamline current approaches for optimal candidate and hiring manager experience
  • Help innovate and streamline internal initiatives (e.g. Employee Referral and Internal Mobility)

 

The Person

Along with demonstrated initiative, uncompromised integrity and a results-oriented mindset, the ideal Talent Acquisition candidate will have:

  • Minimum of 7-9 years of talent acquisition or in-house RPO recruitment experience ideally within a large multinational organisation structure supporting Pharmaceutical / Medical Devices or Biotechnology industry sectors is essential
  • Proven talent acquisition team management Essential
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and project management skill set with a significant ability to lead an international talent acquisition agenda
  • Strategic thinker with analytical skills and experience partnering with senior leadership and clients on recruiting strategy and hiring initiatives
  • Self-directed, detail-oriented problem solver with demonstrated experience in developing and improving processes and policies within Talent Acquisition
  • Organised, efficient, and ability to prioritise effectively
  • Aptitude for learning new technologies quickly and clearly passionate around international talent acquisition
