A global FMCG leader with their headquarters in Dublin is currently recruiting a Transport Operations Manager to support their Dublin hub and 8 depots across Ireland. The Transport Operations Manager will lead a team of staff within an extremely fast paced environment.

The Role

Reporting to the National Transport Manager, your responsibilities will be:

• Planning routes and loading scheduling for deliveries and directing all transportation activities.

• Ensuring all partners in the supply chain are working effectively and efficiently to ensure smooth operations and dealing with problems arising such as the effects of congestion, climate, staff absenteeism.

• Leading and developing the team of Shift Managers/Supervisors & Driving team

• Closing out targets working closely with other departments such as sales, QA, warehouse, fleet, HR, inventory and developing these relationships.

• Having an onsite presence with boots on the ground interacting with the Transport team and other departments.
