Our client required a Head of Strategy & Corporate Development as part of a planned succession strategy at a critical point in the business’s evolution. The appointment coincided with the development of a new five-year growth and corporate strategy, making this a highly influential leadership role with direct impact on long-term value creation.

The challenge centred on securing an individual with a rare and highly sought-after skill set, while ensuring strong cultural alignment with the organisation’s leadership team. Given the strategic importance of the role and the level of influence expected, identifying a leader with both commercial rigour and the right behavioural fit was essential.

Within six weeks, HRM delivered a strong shortlist and all candidates proceeded to interview. The successful appointment was delivered within agreed timelines and budget, enhancing leadership depth and providing the capability required to support the organisation’s next stage of growth.
