Job description

HRM Search Partners seek a talented and experienced Talent & Learning Leader to join an ambitious and growing organisation in Cork. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering talent, leadership development, and learning initiatives across the organisation. As a key member of the people strategy team, you will help us build a workforce with the skills, mindset, and talent to achieve their ambitious business goals. This is a new and exciting role that will work closely with the regional HR teams and the wider business to drive culture forward.

The Role

Enable Target Culture: Develop and implement programs aligned with current culture transformation project, such as leadership frameworks, coaching, facilitation, and performance feedback frameworks.
Drive Growth: Develop, scale, maintain, and deliver a best-in-class learning portfolio that is aligned with the company's target culture and business strategy. Lead and scale the Learning and Development capabilities to drive the best learning strategy for the business and build out methodologies, tools, and frameworks. Conduct organisational needs assessments to identify opportunities and drive desired changes and outcomes.
Realise Talent Potential and Productivity: Own the organisation-wide talent development lifecycle and processes, such as onboarding, goal setting, feedback and performance management, succession planning, workforce planning, talent reviews, and career pathing. Partner with the HR team to create a framework to activate the internal talent marketplace. Partner within the HR Teams to assess and develop learning approaches to meet specific division or functional needs, including leadership coaching and external offerings.

The Person

The ideal candidate for this role is a strategic thinker who is comfortable working in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment. They should be energised by innovative learning solutions and possess excellent organisational, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills. The successful candidate should be adept at managing a busy workload, competing priorities, and working with a global team.

  • 10 years' plus experience in a similar role focused on talent development and learning within a global company.
  • Expertise in the use of talent management strategies, processes, frameworks, and tools for development.
  • Advanced knowledge of leadership development and high-performance team frameworks, with a keen eye for future developments.
  • Experience and qualification in change management and facilitation skills.
  • Ideally is a qualified coach.
  • Previous experience in mentoring and coaching leaders at all levels.
  • Extensive project management, planning, and process definition experience.
