Job description

This highly dynamic organisation that is steeped in history is seeking a new appointee to join the Organisation Design & Workforce Planning team. This role can be based full time in Cork or Dublin and offers agile working benefits including flexi-time and work from home policy.

 

The Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to lead and drive workforce planning function for an organisation that has multiple businesses and business units, within an agile working environment. You will work closely with key senior business leaders and shape decision making across this organisation of over 1500 employees. As Workforce Planning Lead, you will also:

  • Drive the implementation of the workforce planning strategy
  • Using Oracle BI, Qlikview, advanced excel analytics and other technology/tools
  • Develop and assemble an annual workforce plan, in conjunction with the business
  • Supply regular, consistent and accurate headcount reporting and create insights to drive actions
  • Work closely with the L&D team, contributing to succession planning, role competency creation etc
  • Work closely with the Change & Transformation team to understand workforce needs and skill demands
  • Support the implementation of the Organisation Design approach
  • Liaise with Talent Acquisition team to support the recruitment planning process

 

The Person

You will have strong stakeholder management experience and good communication skills. In addition, you will have experience of delivering business goals in a complex, changing environment, achieving targets while bringing key stakeholders on the journey.

  • 3-5 years' workforce planning experience
  • Proven track record of developing and delivering workforce planning initiatives and programs
  • Exceptional stakeholder management across multiple Business Units and cultures
  • Demonstrative negotiation, influencing and delivery for workforce and change programs
  • Has experience in driving Continuous Improvement projects and programs
  • Knowledge of advanced excel and insights/analytics is essential
  • Strong communication, facilitation and project management skills are required

  • Ability to identify and analyse workforce skill gaps and produce promising improvements
