Job description

Our Client, an industry leader, is an American multinational pharmaceutical and biotechnology corporation with several different sites across the country and is seeking to a hire a Strategic Project Manager for a 12 month contract role.

The Position

Responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and maintain project charter (PDCA) with clear definition of project scope, resources, budget, goals/metrics, activities/milestones, dependency, timeline, constraint, and risks.
  • Align strategic project goals, Core Business Principles and PGS T6 initiatives.
  • Validate business case/cost estimate for proposed project, ensure endorsement of key stakeholders, and alignment on the inclusion of the Cost Improvement Project (CIP) in site budget as applicable.
  • Develop and oversee project plan and schedule.
  • Develop and maintain project templates to track value, budget, actions, etc.

The Person

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Biomedical Engineering) or Life Sciences (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology).
  • 5+ years of global project management/operational excellence experience.
  • 3+ years of pharmaceutical experience.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical product lifecycle.
  • Fluent both written and verbally in English.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, using spreadsheet and financial functions.
