Our client, the European Leader in integrated project development, is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional for the position of Head of HR Operations.

As an integral part of their Team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of intricate projects for prominent corporations spanning diverse sectors.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leadership: Lead and cultivate a high-performance team of HR professionals, overseeing HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Mobility, and Compensation. Provide continuous and expert HR services to both the business and staff.

  • Strategic Insight: Offer strategic and operational insights to key stakeholders on resource planning, recruitment, performance management, talent development, and onboarding. Collaborate with other HR sections to shape and implement HR strategy, policies, and procedures.

  • Business Influence: Propel HR approaches that align with operational business objectives, organisational design, and resource plans. Represent the company in Industrial Relation hearings and foster positive Industrial Relations/Employee Relations.

  • Employee Engagement: Support HR projects and initiatives related to employee engagement, culture, training and development, and implement talent management initiatives to retain high-performing employees.

  • Compliance and Reporting: Stay abreast of changes in employment legislation, ensuring compliance. Manage HR metrics and statistical information for mandatory reporting, analysing data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

  • Strategic Planning: Establish, communicate, and execute the strategy, goals, and objectives for HR Business Partnering, reflecting current and future business needs. Manage HR requirements for new country setups.

  • Performance Management: Oversee the company's performance management process, ensuring fairness, consistency, and alignment with company goals and values.

  • Compensation and Benefits: Manage compensation and benefits programmes, ensuring competitiveness, fairness, and cost-effectiveness. Analyse trends to identify opportunities.

  • Diversity and Inclusion: Lead Business EDI initiatives, promoting an inclusive work environment and supporting workforce diversity.

  • Relationship Management: Develop robust working relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring service continuity. Facilitate HR workshops on sites.

  • Ad Hoc Support: Provide support to the Group HR Director with ad hoc projects and initiatives as needed.

Essential criteria:

  • Experience in HR management for an international business.

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and written skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills for problem-solving, facilitation, and collaborative decision-making.

  • Highly computer literate.

  • Proven ability to work autonomously.

  • Third level qualification in HR or equivalent.

  • CIPD qualified or part qualified.

  • Ability to work well within strict deadlines.

  • Business travel required.

  • Success Factors experience a plus but not essential.
